We recommend using PG or Metric thread adapters when the cable gland does not have a pre-threaded entry on the cabinet or equipment. In this case, with the addition of an O-ring, these adapters provide excellent sealing and secure attachment. They are primarily used for thinner sheet metal cabinets.
